I went to Pittsburg High School, graduating in 1978. Many of my friends and I spent a lot of time at Daingerfield State Park as we grew up.
But my radio career started in Daingerfield at KEGG 1560. Yep, that little old AM station was a beginning point for me. From 1978-1980, I got my first taste of radio. Actually in 1977, I worked some on the weekends for free -- I didn't have a license till December of 1977.
Since then, I've worked in the Rockies and all the way to the East Coast and many places in between. I just got back to Texarkana in 2003 so it's been quite a ride across America.
