I am very blessed to have two new granddaughters since I posted about my youngest grandson, who is almost three years old now. On Feb 6, 2007, My youngest son, Nathan and Abby had a baby girl, Lilliana Abigail Baker. Then, on June 12, 2008, they had another daughter, Annabella Christine Baker. Nathan has two sons from a previous marriage that welcome their little sisters. Brian and Chris are 7 and 5.
I have three children and their natural blood children are 3 for John, 2 for Rachel and 4 for Nathan. In addition we have bonuses of step grandchildren, all boys. Rachel has 2 and John 1. That gives us 6 natural grandsons and 3 granddaughters and 3 bonus grandsons. I never dreamed I would be so blessed with them. They all spend alot of time with us at our house and three of them live here. Hannah is oldest at nearly 15, and then the nine boys, and finally the two newest granddaughters. I can honestly say I am thankful for each and every one of them. I have pictures of them on Flickr.com under Ginny Alloway Baker if you want to see them. Lilli has been staying with us while her mother recovers from a C section and she is really a grandma girl. They have all been here for the entire month of June, except Annabella, and having a great time together. The laundry is overwhelming at times though!
I have learned the adage that I want my house clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy! We have five toy boxes and a toy closet just because of them. And paper plates are a necessity!
I am interested in the classmates I had and what happened with their families and if they have grandchildren. I would love to see some postings on here that tell us about them.
You know... I might just beat out Janet Jordan for most grandchildren in the next reunion! She beat me by one the last time. How about it Janet? Do you ever get on here and read the posts? Please post! God bless you. Ginny Alloway Baker Class of 1970
