I just wanted to say hello to all of you I was priveleged enough to know through the years I grew up in Daingerfield. I'm Murray England, or Bill as I'm now known. Oh the memories. For instance, Mark, do you remember when we used to sit down at the shopping center and watch the traffic of those making the circle between downtown and the high school in the spring after we had such a great year in sports? Mr. Pilgrim, chief of police and our classmate Kathy's dad, would always come check on us and escort us home around midnight each Saturday night. Those were great times and I will always cherish them.
I am living in Houston now as the Director of Safety Services at the Sysco Corporation headquarters. I'm also now a member of the Board of Directors of the National Safety Council. Isn't that a paradox for someone who crashed a plane during my senior year in college as I was training to become a fighter pilot in Viet Nam and broke so many bones I lost count? Whoa, that was a long time ago.
God bless all of you and perhaps if the Tigers make it to the state finals, I can see you guys at the game. If anyone would like to reach out, I can be reached my e-mail address of
